L'intérêt pour cette série de dessin réside dans la trace laissée par le geste et la dualité que représente la simplicité du matériau par rapport à la complexité et à l’infinité des possibilités du rendu. Un dessin est l’accumulation d’une multitude de lignes sur un support. Plus que l’effet final, c’est cette trace qui me fascine; le parcours et le temps qui lui sont attribués, comme s’il y avait une harmonie, non seulement dans sa finalité, mais aussi dans le processus que l’image projette.

The interest for this series of drawings lies in the trace left by the gesture and the duality that represents the simplicity of the material compared to the complexity and the infinity of the possibilities of the rendering. A drawing is the accumulation of a multitude of lines on support. More than the final effect, it is this trace that fascinates me; the path and the time that is attributed to it, as if there were a harmony, not only in its finality but also in the process that the image projects.
